Sid & Nancy Dr. Sketchy's

Here are some sketches from October's session of Dr. Sketchy's at the Sake Bomb.  There were two models this time-posing as Sid & Nancy.  (Sid Vicious from the Sex Pistols and Nancy his late girlfriend who he may or may not have stabbed to death.) 
I really enjoyed this one because the models used a guitar as a prop often, and I love drawing musicians!

Life Drawing at the Co-Labratory

Tonight was the 1st life drawing session at the Co-Labratory on Broad.  The model was great, the atmosphere was casual, and the music playing included Iggy Pop and Devendra Banhart.  I will definitely go back-they only asked for $3, and it's BYOB if you want.

Musical experiment

This is my friend Laura. I colored and tweaked this in Photoshop...the original sketch is up on my website. I'm working on a redo of her with watercolor and gouache and a leopard in the scene.
